Damien Chazelle's 1920s Hollywood Movie Babylon Sets Cast
The cast appears to be set for Oscar-winning director Damian Chazelle’s new 1920’s movie Babylon, led by Max Minghella (The Handmaid’s Tale), Flea (bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Samara Weaving (Ready Or Not).
Also boarding the movie are Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne, and Damon Gupton, according to Deadline. The previously announced cast includes Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Katherine Waterston.
Babylon’s specific storyline is still under wraps, but it’s been confirmed that the Paramount film will carry an R rating and it will focus on the time in Hollywood when movies shifted from silent films to talkies.
Chazelle wrote the script and is directing Babylon, which comes to theaters on Christmas Day 2022.
Chazelle’s movies have included Whiplash, La La Land, and First Man, all of which received critical acclaim. As such, the new movie Babylon has a lot of hype behind it.
